OLLI at SOU presents online interviews for OLLI members with people who make a difference in Southern Oregon and beyond. “Talk to Us” is hosted by John Ferris and Barry Vitcov from 4–5 p.m. on the third Monday of each month during the academic year (September–May). 

Please note: You must be signed in and have already paid the annual membership fee (or it is in your shopping cart) to add any Talk to Us interviews to your shopping cart. Non-members and members who are not signed in may only browse.

    Sabrina Cotta joined the City of Ashland in March 2022 as Deputy City Manager, relocating from Colorado. During a period of staffing shortages, she took on additional responsibilities as Interim Finance Director and Interim Human Resources Director. She was appointed City Manager in August 2024. With over 15 years of public sector experience, Cotta holds a Master of Public Administration and Master of Political Science degrees and has taught Public Policy at the University of Arizona.

    Sylvia Massy is an award-winning music producer, recording engineer, and author. She rose to prominence as the producer of Tool’s first two albums and has since worked with an impressive list of artists including Prince, Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Jason Isbell. Based in Ashland, she owns the Oddio Shop, a one-of-a-kind studio filled with vintage microphones and state-of-the-art recording equipment.
